Tuition Fees:

Registration Fee

The registration fee for new students is $100 per student to a maximum of $300 per family.

 

Tuition Fee Schedule

Tuition is paid monthly from September to June according to the rates below. For example, for a family with four children in the school, the cost would be $410 per month or $4,100 for the year.

Students registered after September 30 do not receive government funding and therefore are required to pay additional tuition fees as set out below:

Specialized Fees:

Extra-Curricular Athletics

Extra-Curricular Athletics are optional events that parents can sign their children up for.   Students who have been signed up for extracurricular athletic programs may be required to pay for activity registration fees and/or event fees. These fees will be charged periodically throughout the school year.  Please note: Students cannot sign up for extracurricular activities without permission from a parent/guardian.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Extra-Curricular Activities such as field trips, camping trips, etc may require extra fees to be paid for each participating student.  Regent Academy works hard at fundraising each year in an effort to keep these extra fees as low as possible.  However, there are occasions where extra fees may be required.

Fundraising

Regent Academy relies on fundraising to keep the cost of extra-curricular activities (ie: camping trips) affordable for all families.  Parents are required, as part of their commitment to RA, to participate in our various fundraising drives throughout the year.  In rare cases, where participation is simply not possible, a buyout plan can be made available.  Please contact the school for more information.

Tuition Subsidy Program

For situations in which financial ability may prevent families from enrolling their children in the Academy, the opportunity to apply for subsidy is an option provided by RA.  In order to qualify, parents must request a Subsidy Application Package from the Academy Office and submit the completed package no later than August 1.  This application will be reviewed with an interview to follow.

Re-enrollment

Re-enrollment notifications will be sent home to parents of currently enrolled students. Parents will have until the end of May to submit their students’ re-enrollments, which are subject to review by the administration each year for all students. A student is not considered officially re-enrolled until the parent completes the re-enrollment process.  Re-enrollment forms must be completed by the end of May or registration fees will be charged.

Late Payments

Families whose tuition amounts are not paid by the end of the current month will be required to meet with the administration and submit a plan of payment. All financial obligations must be fulfilled prior to re-enrollment for the following school year.

Withdrawals

Families who withdraw from the academy during the school year will be required to pay all fees for the current month (based on a 10-month payment plan).
